It could be a little intimidating to choose the pieces you will wear in your bracelet stack of the day. But it's actually easier than you think to create beautiful stacks with our jewelry. I remember when I started wearing bracelets and was a bit confused on how to wear more than one and not look like Mr. T. But read on to learn how to stack your bracelets like a pro!
What is bracelet stacking?
First, let's define bracelet stacking. Stacking your bracelets is literally just wearing more than one at a time. Essentially, our pieces are created with that in mind. While all of our wrist wear is able to be worn alone, they are even better when worn together in different combinations. All of our bracelets are stackable. All of our bracelets speak life and affirmation. But you can truly speak great things over yourself and have a physical reminder of who you are and whose you are by just adding a few bracelets to your wrist. Let's get started!
How to get started with bracelet stacking
First, you need some bracelets! You can choose different sizes, colors, metals, and finishes for your bracelets. I like to start with a focal piece. For me this is usually one of our leather cuffs. We have a variety of colors, sizes, metals, and finishes in the cuff collection. For a bolder look go with one of the wide cuffs as your focal piece.
Second, you need complimentary pieces to your focal piece. If you've chosen the sisterhood cuff, a new arrival, then I'd recommend a beaded bracelet like the stone and shine fillers in rose gold. For a little bit more flash you can add the sisterhood charm bracelet as well.
Third, decide if you will be wearing pieces on one wrist or both wrists and then build your stacks accordingly. If stacking on both wrists I recommend that you choose one focal piece. Add the focal piece to one wrist and then choose complimentary pieces for both wrists.
Tips for Success when stacking bracelets
It may be very tempting to wear all your bracelets at once. Resist that urge! Here are 3 tips for success when stacking bracelets:
Sizing - when stacking bracelets always consider the size of the pieces you choose. You will have some smaller and some larger/wider pieces. I suggest wearing the smaller pieces closer to your wrist and the larger pieces further up your wrist.
Number of bracelets - when stacking bracelets always consider the amount of bracelets you add to each wrist. You don't want bracelets from wrist to elbow! But you do want an amount that will make a statement yet still stay classy. I recommend stacking no more than 1/3 of the way up your forearm. This is my personal preference but I've found this to be a reasonable amount of space for several pieces without it being too much.
Other jewelry - if you're choosing to stack bracelets consider limiting to mount of jewelry worn. For example, if you are stacking bracelets already you may not want to wear 5 necklaces and rings on every finger.
